The summer is made for music festivals and outdoor events! This weekend we’re headed to the Oracabessa Festival in NYC. The reggae festival will be filled with stylish Caribbean people who know how to show up and show out. Caribbean folks love a themed event and white with splashes of color gives life to any summer event. We have fun “what to wear” fashion tips for the ladies to stay Caribbean cool in the heat.
- Wear something that’s is comfortable and no fuss: a dress, flowy pants or cutoff jean shorts all are great options.
- Since you’ll be on your feet for an extended period of time jammin’ to some great music, keep it cute with platform wedges, sneakers or low slides.
- Satchels or cross body bags are easy to carry, nothing too big.
- Keep jewelry to a minimum, if you’re wearing costume jewelry wear fewer metals, you’ll sweat more with them on.
- Stay true to your personal style, don’t go for every trend all at once.
