Fashion bloggers are highlighted all the time in mainstream media, but I don’t always see well noted Caribbean Fashion bloggers. I thought I’d highlight some of my favorites  that that I frequent. I do have other (maybe I’ll do a part 2).

Global Fashion. Global Style is her motto but creator Lisa Marie Harris has “a weakness for Caribbean, Pan-African, tropical and far-flung designers.” Rightfully so! The Trinidad native studied at Parsons and seems to have always had natural flair for fashion from the runway to the carnival. AuCourant Daily is an extension of Harris’ quarterly online publication bearing the same name. (Twitter)

Islandista is a Carribbean lifestyle blog dedicated primarily  to the Caribbean woman. Highlighting the likes of models, singers, entertainers and much more with a fashionable twist. As they put it ” Islandista is a blog with a focus on Caribbean fashion, style, culture, entertainment and women’s issues. We delight in the success of our Caribbean sisters, hence we profile and highlight their achievements.”

One of my favorite blogs! Formerly known as Fashion Over Style, she recently changed the name to Fashion over Life. Covering Caribbean fashion with a personal twist. The new mom IrieDiva takes us into the world of Caribbean fashion covering all the wonderful events in Jamaica like Jamaica’s FNO, Pegasus Tweet Up and all the fabulous Fashion shows and parties I can never get to. I featured Kingston Style a few months ago as a Web Wednesday feature. The blog highlights some of the hottest street fashion from Jamaica. From the hardcore to the high end – fashion from the streets of Kingston, Jamaica. Definitely worthy to peak, not to mention I love the photography by BiggyBigz . (Twitter)
