Koffee wins her first Grammy in the Reggae category for her EP Rapture. The 19-year old from Spanish Town, Jamaica whom many discovered through social media with her ode to Usain Bolt just a few years ago has quickly grown into a household favorite for Reggae music. Infusing Reggae, Dancehall and Hip-Hop, complimented by her unique sound and flow made her hit single “Toast” permeate through the airwaves in 2018-2019. Rapture features only 5 songs, but the impact has been widely received in international markets. Koffee has been featured in countless music magazine, Apple Music, landed a sponsorship with Honda and has been featured on the Obama’s playlist multiple times. Congrats to the singer and her team for an amazing win for the culture.
