Beyonce and Jay-Z are showing Jamaica love again. First the music power couple used familiar hook of the Jamaican Rocksteady Classic “I’m Still In Love With You” by Marcia Aitken to promote their OTR Tour 2. Although Marica Aitken’s version is popular, her version isn’t the original, that credit goes to Alton Ellis. The song has been sampled in more recent times by Dancehall star Sean Paul in a duet with Sasha. The Carters have also been spotted in Jamaica filming riding on a motorcycle through Trenchtown – what many assume will be footage to use on the tour. We’ll have to wait and see, but check out the On the Run II trailer, the original version of “I’m Still in Love” and the cover versions that later became popular.
