Vibes: Reggae Songs That Inspire

Trump is officially America’s president. We must deal and carry on. I was not the surprised by the outcome, but made my mood somber nonetheless. It feels like he’s inspired more hate,  sexism and racism in America as the people divide, he’ll swoop in and look out for his rich friends. I’m waiting to see how it plays out and come to terms with the various emotions I’m we are all feeling.

Music always puts me in a good mood so I decided to put together a playlist of reggae songs the always ground me, remind me to be proud of who I am and deal with the fact that we have to keep moving forward regardless of the obstacles we face. Reggae has always been my gospel, so “hold ah musical meds” and enjoy the vibes.

Playlist includes

Bob Marley – So Much Trouble In The World [01]

Buju Banton – Untold Stories

Sizzla – Guide Over Us

Sizzla – Good Ways

Chronixx – Ain’t No Giving In

Jesse Royal – Modern Day Judas

Proteje feat. Chronixx – Who Knows

Damian Marley – Nail on the Cross

Kelissa feat. Chronixx & Keznamde – Winna

Dennis Brown – Love & Hate (Here I Come)

Steel Pulse – Chant a Psalm

Morgan Heritage – Tell me How Come

Romain Virgo – Who Feels it Knows

Romain Virgo – I Know Better

Bunji Garlin &Damian Marley – The Message

Stephen Marley feat. Damian Marley & Buju Banton – Jah Army
