Lauren Francis-Sharma, daughter of Trinidadian-born parents, was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan Law School and practiced as a corporate lawyer before writing “‘Til the Well Runs Dry”, her first novel.

When people write about the Caribbean it’s either about the non-Spanish Caribbean or the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. It gets divided. If we’re talking about the Caribbean, it should be as a whole. There are plenty of Spanish Caribbean business owners. Do the research and you’ll easily find it.
It’s weird you didn’t think about the biggest islands in the Caribbean – Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico…
