I have to say, I wasn’t that impressed with the fashion on the BET Awards’ red carpet fashion this year. I think overall everyone looked nice, but no WOW-factors. A lot of my favorite looks were really laid back or just not up to par, but here are a few of my favorite looks as well as a few that fell short.
Alicia Keys’ low key look with a black jumpsuit and white blazer paired well together and the shoes are giving me live! Her red lips and fishtail braid are perfect as well.
I’m not too sure about Keri Hilson’s shoes, but there’s definitely something I like about her other accessories ae great the cuffs and small clutch wna the green pendant adds a nice pop against the sweethear neckline of her shirt. 
This pink dress fit Kelly Rowland perfectly! The exaggerated ruffle is a nice touch, but the shoes, I’m not too crazy about with this dress.
Eve‘s biker-chic look I wasn’t mad at…reminds me of her Ruff Ryder days.
The gentleman, Ne-Yo look dapper and laid back as well. With all this leather on the carpet, I’m hoping it wasn’t too hot in L.A.
Now on the WTF bad. Nicki just has too much going on, I really don’t understand where she was going with this look. She really didn’t need the tights or the boots, I think it throws the look off, and the dress wasn’t amazing to begin with. (I’m not really feeling her new short bob either.)
Rocsi looked like she was getting ready for Skating with the Stars. Her hair and make-up are on point though. Her dress when she presented was much nicer, she should have rocked that on the carpet.
This is what we do for Award Shows now, just roll out of bed and put on whatever. Someone please tell Drake to hire an image consultant Young Money can afford that!
