MET Costume Institute Gala 2011

May 3, 2011 by Mikelah Leave a Comment

Unfortunately, I was unimpressed by most of the fashion on the red carpet at this year’s MET Costume Institute Gala. It’s usually a time for the stars to push the envelope, but they all just seem, well…just ok.  Check out a few of my favorite looks.

Eva Mendes in Stella McCartney. I love the royal blue color and the belt is a perfect accessory.

Kerry Washington in Escada. Her hair and subtle makeup make the dress pop. I really like the cut out, it fits her fram perfectly.

Solange added a little drama to her Dries Van Noten dress with teased curls and black lined lids.

Here are a few other looks, but I’m not to crazy about them.
