Lose Yourself Open Mic Recap

April 5, 2010 by Mikelah Leave a Comment

Words express thoughts and poetry evokes emotions through rhyme and reason. The Lose Yourself Open Mic event at Butterfield 8 in Stamford, CT organized by Stamford native and entrepreneur, Anthony Harris was nothing less than stellar in executing a night filled with inspiration. Local performers came out to showcase their talent in a intimate atmosphere that most are hoping happen on a regular basis. The event was created as an outlet for these artists to creatively express themselves and also shed light on a fading cause as some of the proceeds went to aiding relief for Haiti.

Check out a few pictures of performers and audience members from the event.
