Dancehall Reggae songstress Cherine Anderson premiered her latest video “You Turn Me On” featuring Natel via twitter. Cherene is never one to disappoint vocally and the video is no different.

Yes. Finally. Usher, this is what I love to see. MTV premiered Usher’s new video Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home) directed by Chris Robinson today. The song is hot, the video…even hotter. I love that it’s not the cookie cutter dancing in club you’d typically see from Usher on upbeat songs. Even more, I like how the video tells a story of how he balances his career and personal life. The video is a great snapshot of what we can expect from Raymond vs Raymond slated to drop the end of March.

noneBajan R&B/Pop singer Shontelle is back with a sexed up single title “Licky”. Pretty catchy, but I’m not really feelin’ it. It seems like a forced pop song that may get lost on the charts.
noneSpike Lee directed the video for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” and I was almost brought to tears with all the great footage. It just made fall in love with Michael Jackson all over again.

Etana’s “Free” is an emotionally ballad and the video is just at thought provoking, directed by JayWill.
Amerie’s “More than Love” video was leaked. The video features Fabolous and the video makes me like the song more.
Trey Songz released an official video for “Say Aah” featuring Fabolous…mediocre at best.

Rihanna released a preview of her new video for the single “Hard” from her Rated R album. The video looks a little dark, similarly to “Russian Roulette” and “Wait Your Turn”. Absolutely love this song, but I’m not sure if I’m feeling where she’s going with the video, but we’ll see.

Nia Long is on the cover of the November issue of Essence Magazine. Finally someone new on the cover! I absolutely adore Nia Long. She’s been doing her rounds of promo for Chris Rock’s Good Hair documentary, which I’m planning to see this weekend. Check her out at the movie premiere.
