I recently (recent as in 2 months ago) cut my hair into a long bob, I knew it would look great straight, but had to admit I wasn’t sure how my curls would look, even though I’ve cut it shorter for “the chop” when officially went natural about 5 years ago. I have to say that I’m totally in love with my shorter hair, curly and straight. I have been rocking the curls most of the summer because the humidity and straight hair don’t mix (even when I had a relaxer it didn’t work so well). However, I do straightening when getting it cut or trimmed especially since I finally found a stylist whom I trust.

Live life deliciously is their motto — what girl wouldn’t want to do that? I came across Get Em Girls on Twitter (Clicking links as usual) and immediately fell in love with this site. The graphics on the site is was really drew me in, but the content made me add them to my Google Reader. Quality posts about fashion, food and profiling real life “Get ‘Em Girls”  these ladies have it together! Not to mention they wrote  cook book which seems worth the buy.

Cool Cruel World is simply put…dope! Cocoa Bella is definitely a taste-maker for urban culture. Like her slogan “for the informed & sophisticated” her blog is more about thinking out of the box rather than exploring traditional idea of urban culture. Coincidentally, on the release date of Drake’s official debut album Thank Me Later comes the remix of “Find Your Love” featuring Shaggy. The rapper/singer shot the video for “Find Your Love”  in Jamaica (co-starring Mavado). Drake is projected move a solid number of units (or downloads) for this album. In the mean time check out Drake ft. Shaggy – Find Your Love Remix. Partial to the original, the remix keeps the baseline and adds a little island spice to the record.
