Estelle is working on her upcoming sophomore U.S. release All of Me. Check out scenes from her video “Freak”, produced by David Guetta. The official video premieres Friday Feb. 26.
Kiprich has been making quite a name for himself over the last year. You may remember him as Elephant Man’s wing man in “Jook Gal”, but since the young DJ has stepped out on his own with hits like “Telephone Ting”and “The Letter”. Not only does he have a few hits under his belt, but has proven his lyrical prowess against General B at Sting, there is no denying Kiprich can hold his own. “Party Time” is definitely a change in what we’re use to hearing from Kiprich. With a pop feel, laced with auto-tune it’s a feel good song aimed at the Billboard Charts.

Usher releases new music from his highly antipated follow up to the wack not so well received Here I Stand. Anyone who knows me knows I am an Usher fan (from his Call Me A Mack Days). The song is obviously about his break up with Tameka (I was probably the only one rooting for them.) and tells the tale of ish we already knew. Plain and simple –Papers is mediocre. It sounds like typical Usher and even has the remnants of his Confessions album. It’s definitely missing something in my book. I’m hoping this won’t be his official single, the song is okay and will grow on people, but I’m not sure that it will make the impact he was looking.
Usher tried making a statement with Here I Stand. I hope he just makes music on Raymond vs. Raymond.

They’re bringing back their Singersroom Live “My Music, My Style” Concert Series, which celebrates the individuality and unquestionable talent of promising breaking artist.

Melanie Fiona released this via her twitter page yesterday. I like it. She actually adds a nice flavor to the song. Still waiting for her album to release in the States, I think it’s going to be hot!

It’s steaming up to be a hot musical summer! Machel Montano hooks up with Collie Buddz, another hot collab from the Soca King. We’re finally starting to see some action from Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Nas, as we have been hearing about Nas’ next album for a while now, and Sean Paul is about to squeeze off the Imperial Blaze with a lady So Fine.
noneMy ultimate vibe changes all the time, but I’m really feelin’ new singer Melanie Fiona. I know I’m a little late on her buzz, but I’m not the band wagon type, so I like evaluate an artist on my own. Girl’s got some vocals, not to mention she a fab Caribbean chick!
I love the acapella she does in this video. Raw & Uncut.

Tami Chynn teams up with Akon on her new single Frozen. The uptempo track was Produced by Akon and RedOne, has more of a pop appeal, but I love it! It has a sample of Madonna’s Dress You Up from her 1985 album Like a Virgin. Tami has been on the scene in Jamaica for a while. She has a beautiful voice destined for cross over appeal.
Jamelody gives us a silky reggae ballad Love Crazy, the lead single off his upcoming release on VP Be Prepared later this month. Hailing from Trinidad & Tobago, his voice is reminiscent of Garnett Silk, but that’s just my opinion. Jamelody The royal reggae family (and quite honestly one of the best reggae bands) Morgan Heritage is back with their new single Raid Rootz Dance. I’m not to crazy about it, it sounds more like a b-side track, but their other single Love You Right is a great song, and would be my pick for the album single. The upcoming album to be released April 15 titled Mission In Progress.
