Congrats to Ziggy Marley, who won a grammy for his children’s album Family Time. And Stephen Marley won for Mind Control – Acoustic in the Best Reggae Album category.

Spike Lee directed the video for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” and I was almost brought to tears with all the great footage. It just made fall in love with Michael Jackson all over again.

Etana’s “Free” is an emotionally ballad and the video is just at thought provoking, directed by JayWill.
Amerie’s “More than Love” video was leaked. The video features Fabolous and the video makes me like the song more.
Trey Songz released an official video for “Say Aah” featuring Fabolous…mediocre at best.
According to various news sources (Jamaica Gleaner, Miami Herald and Jamaica Observer) have confirmed that Buju Banton was arrested in Florida and is being held on drug possesion with intent to distribute. Details of his arrest have not been release and neither has an official statement from his management.
This comes a complete surprise and seems totally left field for the Rasta, seeing that he was on a successful tour for his Rasta Got Soul album and was recently nominated for a Grammy this week. Either way this is not a good situation for him, his family and Dancehall and Reggae music. I’ll refrain from commenting on this one until all the details are released.
Here’s a link to the latest on Buju’s situation

Wild World indeed!
